The new single from False Heads is an eerie, unsettling track that hands guitar and vocal duties to folk punk icon Frank Turner. ‘Haunted Houses’ manages to extract a sense of foreboding from its jagged, fuzzy guitar riffs and hooks, despite retaining its essence of indie-inspired, anthemic rock. The track builds into an energetic, punky climax that needs to be experienced in a live setting.
